Has your child learned to write? Does he love games where time is not on the side of the player? Then Word Cards is a perfect treat for him and may be for you both. Simply look at the pictures shown in the game and create words that stand for the things you see. For this, pick cards with appropriate letters from the pile and put them to the cells in the right order. If the spelling of the word is right, the app says "Good". But if you have something wrong like "chiese" instead of "cheese", you get "Fail" and have to try again until you get it right. Simple, but fun.
Word Cards offers many levels, each level corresponding to a letter in ABC. When you select A, the program challenges you to create words that start with this letter. If you choose B, then all words start with B. Extensive vocabulary and knowledge how to spell out words are not enough to succeed. The game will also challenge your reaction, as each level is timed.
